<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide accurate time information by preventing erroneous determination in the code determination of each bit of a time code even if a demodulation signal, namely the output of the reception means of standard waves, becomes unstable by the deterioration of a reception environment and the influence of noise, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A decoding means and a control means have a first storage means and a second one, respectively, the output of a comparison means is stored in a first storage means, and the output of a decoding means is stored in a second storage means. A selection means switches the threshold of the comparison means by one of or both of a switching signal from the decoding means and that from the control means.
