<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character input device, enabling an aged person, a physically-impaired user or the like to easily input a character. <P>SOLUTION: The system includes a character input device 100 including a character sheet 110 having characters aligned thereon, a base 120 having a sheet tray 121 for placing the character sheet 110 thereon, an operation handle 130 mounted on the base 120 and taking a plurality of attitudes based on an operation by a user's hand, a shooting switch 160 mounted on the operation handle 130 to be operated by the user, and a digital camera 150 mounted on the operation handle 130 to be turnable to a direction for photographing a character based on each of the plurality of attitudes on the character sheet 110, and performing photographing in response to the operation of the shooting switch 160; and a personal computer 200 which recognizes a character on an image obtained by photographing by the digital camera 150. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
