<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device for actualizing a plurality of kinds of combinations of a piezoelectric vibrating piece accommodated in a vessel and circuit elements and for improving the degree of freedom in design. <P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric device 1 includes a crystal vibrating piece 30 and an IC chip 40 within a ceramic package 10 through an arrangement that the crystal vibrating piece 30 and IC chip 40 are located not to be overlapped with each other in the plan view. This piezoelectric device 1 is also provided with a mounting board 20 for fixing the crystal vibrating piece 30 within the ceramic package 10 and having a connecting electrode 21 connected to an extended electrode 32 formed to the crystal vibrating piece 30.
