PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for mounting a grating in a grooved block enabling the smooth removal of the grating by preventing the grating from being flipped up when a vehicle is running or from being stolen. SOLUTION: This structure for mounting a grating in a grooved block having both sides 70 joined to a top plate part 71 and an opening 72 formed in the upper surface includes the metal grating 1 having a mounting plate 15 secured to a grating body with the gap 17 between itself and an end plate 11 and a bolt shaft 18b projecting from the mounting plate 15; a hooking metal fitting 2 having a through-hole 20, having a vertical portion 25 extending from one end edge of a flat plate part 2a placed on the mounting plate 15, and having an extension portion 26 so extending as to be apart from the flat plate part 2a; and a deformed nut 8 which forms a female screw part 82 screwed with the bolt shaft 18b and which has a projection 80b on the outer surface.
