<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pump in which cavitation does not occur and of which the pump efficiency is not deteriorated even at low speed rotation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This trochoid type oil pump is characterized by forming a variable hollow 33 of a variable depth extending in a rotation direction rear side to establish communication between the maximum displacement part 136 and a delivery port 26 at a width direction middle part of a delivery port 26 on an end wall 32 of the rotation direction rear side of the delivery port 26 positioned at a delivery displacement part 30.
