PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a denture adhesive having an improved use feeling more than the conventional one, having a superior denture stabilization effect and sustaining the operation for a long period of time. SOLUTION: This denture adhesive includes 10-29 wt.% of polyethylene oxide with mean molecular weight of 200,000-20,000,000 as a thermoplastic polymer, 1-15 wt.% of glycerine fatty acid ester or sucrose fatty acid ester as a plasticizer, 15-45 wt.% of carboxymethylcellulose sodium as adhesive, and less than 5-45 wt.% of methoxy ethylene maleic anhydride copolymer salt as an adhesion adjuvant.
