PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that contributes to improving an assembling property of an electrical component for a power supply of a drive motor for driving a tool bit, in an impact tool for executing prescribed hammering work to a material to be processed by striking operation of the tool bit. SOLUTION: A power hammer as an impact tool is constituted as an electrical component assembly body, which is integrally formed with electrical components such as: a connection terminal that enables terminal connection by a plug-in type insertion form into a connected terminal of a brush holder unit; a power terminal 144 to which AC code 150 is connected; a power switch 131 capable of switching a power-on state to a power-off state of a drive motor; a controller 147 for controlling power supply of the drive motor; and rotation number adjusting dial 148 and a motor rotation number sensor 149. This electrical component assembly body is assembled into a tool body side, by a connection of the connection terminal to the connected terminal in the plug-in type insertion form.
