<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tyrosine hydroxylase modulator useful for the improvement of nerve degenerative diseases and promotion of the amount of autonomic movements, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: This tyrosine hydroxylase regulator is provided by containing the lactobacillus-fermented material of a soybean-originated component such as soybean milk, etc., as an active ingredient. The regulator is obtained by adding the lactobacillus to the soybean-originated component to perform the fermentation and collecting the fermented material.
