<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crown cage preventing a lubricant from flowing to the base side of the crown cage, and also to provide a ball bearing including this crown cage. <P>SOLUTION: An annular crown cage 4 for retaining a plurality of balls 3 of the ball bearing so as to be freely rolled has: an annular base 6 disposed on one side in an axis direction closer than the plurality of balls 3; and a main body part 8 in which a plurality of pockets 7 which is opened on another side in the axis direction is formed in a circumferential direction to retain the balls 3.
