摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus in which the drying speed of ink is high, the feathering in ink dot and the occurrence of void are suppressed and an image of high image quality and high optical density can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording apparatus includes a recording head for ejecting ink onto a recording medium and a means for drying the ink ejected onto the recording medium, wherein the ink satisfies the following conditions: (1) concentration of the pigment is 3 to 20 mass%; (2) a content of ink in a solvent whose vapor pressure at 20&deg;C is at most 2 Pa is at most 3 mass%; (3) surface tension at 20&deg;C is at most 20 to 35 mN/m; and (4) a particle size of the pigment is 30 to 100 nm, and the recording medium is a non-permeable or moderately permeable recording medium and has a dot diameter of the ink formed on the recording medium when ejecting an ink droplet of 2 pL onto the recording medium, which is 2 to 3.5 times the sphere-reduced diameter of the ink droplet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
