PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economic lubricating composition excellent in heat resistance, load resistance and flame retardancy. SOLUTION: This fluorine-based lubricating composition comprises a fluorine oil and tricalcium phosphate. The tricalcium phosphate is used at 1-40 wt.% to the total composition including the fluorine oil. The lubricating composition excellent in heat resistance and load resistance owing to the fluorine system is obtained safely, easily and economically because a fluororesin conventionally used together with the fluorine oil or a fluorine solvent for dissolving the fluororesin need not be used. The lubricating composition further excellent in friction and abrasion performances is obtained by mixing another lubricating composition comprising a thickener with the lubricating composition containing the tricalcium phosphate and the fluorine oil.
