PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable for pressure detection for setting a stable irregular shape on a surface using a commercially available normal optical fiber without its flexibility. SOLUTION: This optical fiber cable for pressure detection includes a core section 1 having an optical fiber, and a coating section 2 having a braid texture that is organized by a plurality of threads and adheres to the surface of the core section.
