<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoothing circuit for DC-DC converter, a DC-DC converter, a drive circuit for electrophoretic display unit, an electrophoretic display unit and an electronic apparatus, capable of attaining reductions in power consumption and size. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The smoothing circuit 58 for DC-DC converter, which smoothes an output of a body circuit 57, includes an amplification circuit 58a in which a control signal of controlling operation of the body circuit 57 is input and which outputs a predetermined signal having an amplified amplitude of the control signal and a voltage control switch 58b for connecting or disconnecting between the body circuit 57 connected to an input terminal N5 and a capacitor C4 connected to an output terminal N8 in parallel, based on an output voltage of the amplification circuit 58a.
