<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly stereoscopic microscope in which luminous flux is reduced, and a size and weight are reduced. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The microscope includes one objective lens optical system 11, an afocal zoom lens optical system 12, a lens barrel side optical systems 10, 30 including an imaging lens and eyepiece sequentially from an object side. A light dividing element 13 is arranged between the afocal zoom lens optical system 12 and lens barrel side optical systems 10, 30. The light dividing element 13 divides a light path into a first lens barrel side optical system 10 and a second lens barrel side optical system 30. The second lens barrel side optical system 30 includes a one-time imaging afocal relay optical system 31. The one-time afocal relay optical system 31 is formed of one optical system, includes an image rotator 34, and an intermediate image forming point F of the one-time imaging afocal relay optical system 31 is provided inside the image rotator 34.
