<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine capable of reducing noise caused by a fuel pump. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A high pressure fuel pump attachment part 19 on which a high pressure fuel pump is attached is provided at one end of a ladder frame 4 rotatably supporting a camshaft together with a cylinder head.
