PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish a conference function that is not provided generally in a SIP sequence, using a general SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) sequence even while a SIP telephone set that does not include a mixing function, is used. SOLUTION: In a system comprising a plurality of terminals and conference convening apparatus interconnected with the plurality of terminals over a network, a two-way communication destination of a first terminal and two-way communication destinations of a plurality of terminals with which the first terminal desires to communicate bidirectionally, are defined as conference convening apparatuses and each conference convening apparatus mixes transmission data from the terminals.
