PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera capable of suitably performing noise correction processing when live view operation is performed. SOLUTION: The electronic camera includes: an imaging element 13 for picking up an object image and outputting image data; a live view control means 101 for making the imaging element 13 repeat image pickup and sequentially display reproduced images based on image data sequentially outputted from the imaging element 13 on a display means 20; an operation means 101 for operating noise correction information based on a first image picked up by the imaging element 13 in a light-shielded state before the live view control and a second image picked up by the imaging element 13 in a light-shielded state after the live view control; and a noise reduction means 102 for applying noise reduction processing to image data picked up by the imaging element 13 in an exposure state after the live view control by using the noise correction information.
