PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To substantially prolong the lives of batteries by substantially reducing power consumption in a stationary state in which temperature changes are small. Ž
SOLUTION: Only a measurement communication processing part constituted of a measuring circuit, a transmission circuit, a CPU and etc. in a radio temperature sensor is normally set in a standby state (a state in which a means for detecting changes in temperature to be measured and a power supply management means are supplied with power) in which power supply from a battery is cut off. A temperature detection element such as a thermocouple is used in this standby state to detect a temperature to be measured T and starts power supply from the battery for the measurement communication processing part when a change in the temperature to be measured T is detected. The measurement communication processing part is thereby risen from a suspension state to perform measurements and transmission. After this, power supply for the measurement communication processing part is cut off to keep the measurement communication processing part suspended again. Ž
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
