<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress lack of oil in a compressing mechanism, caused by accumulation of refrigerating machine oil in a flow channel on a return pipe side of a cooler, in a refrigerating device having: the return pipe for branching a refrigerant distributed from a radiator to an evaporator and returning the same to the compressing mechanism; and a cooler for exchanging heat between the refrigerant distributed from the radiator to the evaporator and the refrigerant flowing in the return pipe. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An air conditioner 1 includes: the compressing mechanism 2; a heat source side heat exchanger 4 for allowing the refrigerant to radiate heat; a use side heat exchanger 6 for evaporating the refrigerant; a latter stage side injection pipe 19 for branching the refrigerant distributed from the heat source side heat exchanger 4 to the use side heat exchanger 6; and returning the same to the compressing mechanism 2; and an economizer heat exchanger 20 exchanging heat between the refrigerant distributed from the heat source side heat exchanger 4 to the use side heat exchanger 6 and the refrigerant flowing in the latter stage side injection pipe 19. A cooler oil recovering operation is performed to recover the refrigerating machine oil accumulated in the flow channel at the latter stage side injection pipe 19 side, of the economizer heat exchanger 20 into the compressing mechanism 2 through the latter stage side injection pipe 19.
