PURPOSE: An intelligent hybrid electric vehicle operating system interlocked with position information is provided to save energy by operating the vehicle using fossil fuels and electric energy. CONSTITUTION: A first driver(110) provides the power for operating the vehicle using the fossil fuels. A second driver(120) provides the power for operating the vehicle using the electric energy. A first driver controller(130) controls the first driver. A second driver controller(140) controls the second driver. A main controller(160) confirms the traveling region based on the position information from a traveling position obtaining unit(150). The main controller applies a main control signal and a sub control signal to the first and second driver controllers.
