<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspecting function for ensuring print quality in a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A control section 4 of an image recorder 2 includes: a print data processing section 9 that exerts control such that a specific recording failure inspection pattern 20 is recorded after print data is recorded on a recording medium 1 for each job; and a recording failure inspecting section 8 that, based on the recording failure inspection pattern 20 obtained by imaging an inspection image by use of an inspection image acquiring section 7, determines whether the inspection image is good. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
