PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a polymer film having little anisotropy with high productivity by suppressing the elongation in a transporting direction. SOLUTION: A dope containing a polymer and a solvent is cast to a surface of a moving supporter from a flow casting die, whereby a band of casting film is formed, then the casting film is peeled off from the surface of the supporter by a peeling-off roller and the peeled-off cast film is guided to a tenter as a gelatinous wet film 31 by transporting with a plural of guide rollers 36. A peripheral surface of the guide roller 36 is equipped with a range 68e for contacting with an ear part which contacts with an ear part 31e of the wet film 31 and a range 68c for contacting with a product part which contacts with a product part 31c of the wet film 31.
