<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser driving circuit of a differential driving type capable of reducing consumption power. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser driving circuit 1 comprises a differential circuit 20 for supplying driving current to semiconductor laser 5 depending on a modulation signal, a voltage generation circuit 60 for supplying power supply voltage to the differential circuit 20 and changing the power supply voltage depending on a control signal, an output detecting circuit 40 for detecting an output common mode voltage of the differential circuit 20, and a control circuit 50 for generating the control signal depending on the output common mode voltage detected by the output detecting circuit 40.
