PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a motion sensor for a vehicle, which can suppress displacement when mounting the motion sensor for the vehicle on a mounting board. SOLUTION: In the mounting structure of the motion sensor 2 for the vehicle, a lead 5 used as an auxiliary electrode in self-alignment, is arranged in a side different from a side where a plurality of leads 4 are arranged. Moreover, the lead 5 used as the auxiliary electrode is not used as a terminal electrically connected to a desired position of a sensor element actually but used as a dummy terminal. Accordingly, the lead 5 is pulled by the surface tension of a molten solder 9 when mounting, and the motion sensor 2 for the vehicle can be arranged at an ideal position by the self-alignment. Since the lead 5 is used as the dummy terminal, a problem will not occur even if connection reliability cannot be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
