<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera equipped with a heat radiation means sufficiently cooling a solid imaging device and an integrated circuit, having high rigidity and furthermore, hardly influencing design. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The digital camera equipped with a lens unit 15, the solid imaging device 31 and the integrated circuit 41 is equipped with a camera housing which is constituted to have a double structure of an external housing 11 formed of a member having low heat conductivity, and an internal housing 61 formed of a member having high rigidity and high heat conductivity and functioning as the heat radiation means, and has a heat radiation space between the external housing 11 and the internal housing 61. The integrated circuit 41 that is a heat source in the camera housing and the internal housing 61 are connected through a member having high heat conductivity. Furthermore, the internal housing 61 is formed of a body side housing located near the solid imaging device 31 and the integrated circuit 41, and a lens side housing 62 covering the periphery of the lens unit 15, and radiates heat by all surfaces of the body side housing and the lens side housing.
