<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece provided with the function of displaying information on the position of the moon on the celestial sphere and the age of the moon by adding a simple mechanism to a normal timepiece and to display a broad range of constellations in such a timepiece. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A constellation board, which is a disc on which principal fixed stars and constellations are displayed, is driven by a timepiece mechanism with the celestial north pole direction or south pole direction as the rotation axis, and rotates in sync with the diurnal motion of the fixed stars, is provided with a constellation board on which the ecliptic displayed in nearly an eccentric ring shape, year-round dates indicating the position of the sun on the ecliptic, and an area indicating the passage range of the moon in the vicinity of the ecliptic are displayed, and a moon board, which rotates with a predetermined rotation ratio with respect to the constellation board, and on which an indicator indicating the position of the moon within the range in which the moon can exist and the age of the moon corresponding to the date are displayed on the circumference.
