摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a getting-on-and-off property even when a cabin floor surface position is high from the ground by satisfying contradictory issues of lightening of a pillar skeletal member and security of prescribed rigidity on a vehicle the pillar skeletal member of which extends along the vertical direction of the vehicle on a rear part side of a vehicle body side part. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A roof side outer panel 20 as the pillar skeletal member of a quarter pillar 14 is formed in a hat type cross-section shape to open toward the inside of a cabin and an assist grip 30 is fastened and fixed in a state to connect a flange part 22 and a flange part 24 along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle on an assist grip mounting structure for an occupant to grip. Consequently, cross-section deformation of the roof side outer panel 20 is restrained and falling of it to the inward side and the outward side of the vehicle is prevented when a large load works. Accordingly, it is possible to improve Rr revolving convergence (steering stability performance), in-cabin booming noise (NV performance) and a level of endurance strength in lane changing when the vehicle 10 travels.
