<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a darts game machine capable of varying the display mode of a target and having various game properties. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The darts game machine includes a board having a translucent area capable of receiving a thrown dart sticking in the board, a display means disposed on the back side of the board for the presentation display and using prescribed presentation images including at least the image of the target of the dart, a dart detecting means for detecting the position of the sticking dart, and a game progress control means for controlling the display of the display means and adding points according to the positional relation between the position of the dart on the board detected by the dart detection means and the position of the presentation image displayed by the display means. The image of the target can be variously changed via the game progress control means, and a highly amusing darts game can be provided by detecting the position of the dart held on the board by the dart detection means.
