<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conjugate fiber having excellent transparency and elasticity, and providing stretchable clothes such as a pantyhose and stockings having good stretchability of the cloth and hardly being broken, and to provide a method for producing the conjugate fiber. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The conjugate fiber comprises an elastomer resin (A) at a core part and an elastomer resin (B) at a sheath part, and the elastomer resin (A), and the elastomer resin (B) have a difference in melting point by 1/2 method of not more than 5°C.
