PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a transparent conductive film excelling in conductivity and transparency and high in smoothness. SOLUTION: This transparent conductive film includes a metal pattern having an opening on a transparent support body, and a conductive layer containing a conductive polymer or metal oxide. The transparent conductive film is characterized in that the surface roughness Ra of the transparent support body is not larger than 5 nm. Its manufacturing method includes a process of previously stacking, on a first support body, a metal pattern, and a conductive layer containing a conductive polymer or metal oxide in this order, thereafter sticking the metal pattern and the conductive layer on a second support body through an adhesive layer, and thereafter separating the first support body.
