PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system by which backup is operated by required minimum volume even when a storage system stops working normally by a disaster, etc. under a remote copy environment. SOLUTION: In the computer system provided with: a host computer; a first storage system with a data volume which stores data whose writing is requested from an application; a second storage system with a mirror volume which duplicates the data stored in the data volume; and a control computer, it is characterized that a policy regarding backup processing to be executed to the backup volume is accepted, and configurations of a first disk device and a second disk device are set, respectively, based on the accepted policy.
