PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trap having the whole volume of the trap after installation prevented from becoming bulky, and capable of carrying out the capturing without being affected by the condition of traveling and movement. SOLUTION: The trap for a flying pest insect is constituted of an upper face body (10), a bottom face body (11) and a side face body (12), and is obtained by installing an attractant (15) at the center part by using an attractant holder (19) in an inside space (14) of a columnar body (13) having the hollow interior, and adhesive parts (16) formed on the whole back side surface of the side face body (12) of the body (13), and forming four slits (17) at an even interval.
