<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical component and an optical device, capable of obtaining a sufficient junction strength between a lens barrel and an optical filter, and allowing compactification with a satisfactory pick-up image, without generating a defect in optical information of an image of a subject. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This optical component 1 is provided with the lens barrel 2, and the optical filter 3 with a side face joined to an end part of the lens barrel 2 via an adhesive 4. The end part of the lens barrel 2 joined with the optical filter 3 is formed with an inside diameter sloped face to reduce an inside diameter toward the central part of the lens barrel 2. The side face of the optical filter 3 is formed with an outside diameter sloped face to reduce an outside diameter toward the central part of the lens barrel 2. The optical component 1 is compactified since the optical component 1 is inserted into the lens barrel 2, the sufficient junction strength between the lens barrel 2 and the optical filter 3 is maintained since the inside diameter sloped face of the lens barrel 2 is joined to the outside diameter sloped face of the optical filter 3. The defect is prevented from being generated in the optical information of the image of the subject transmitted to an optical element, and the pick-up image becomes excellent thereby.
