<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating efficiently filtering and separating boron-containing wastewater by a simple and safe method. Ž<P>SOLUTION: At least one carboxylic acid compound selected from aldonic acids and uronic acids is added to boron-containing wastewater and an adsorbent for adsorbing the carboxylic acid compound is subsequently added to boron-containing wastewater to filter and separate the boron to thereby remove it.
