<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of detecting fraudulence such as making a game ball directly pass through a winning zone without the shooting by a shooting means. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes a return preventive member 16 disposed in such a way that a game ball shot by the shooting device and guided by a guide rail 11 can abut on the member and allowing the game ball abutting on the member to pass and to be released onto a playfield 2a; a released ball detection sensor 500 disposed in the return preventive member 16 and detecting the game ball abutting on the return preventive member 16 to be released onto the playfield 2a; winning ball detection sensors 610, 611, 612 and 613 disposed on the playfield 2a and detecting winning zones through which game balls can pass and game balls passing through the winning zones; and a sub-CPU for determining the presence of fraudulence based on the result of detection by the released ball detection sensor 500 and the result of detection by the winning ball detection sensors 610, 611, 612 and 613.
