<p>The arrangement has an inverter (22) and an energy storage designed as a capacitor (C1). A decoupling component (10) e.g. resistor and transistor, is switched for producing a potential difference between the energy storage and the inverter. Another energy storage i.e. capacitor (C2), is connected with the inverter such that a commutation voltage (U2) at the latter energy storage causes an increase of a lamp voltage (Ula) during a commutation phase of a high pressure discharge lamp (5). The latter energy storage is connected with both input terminals of the inverter. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a lamp voltage for stabilized operation of a high pressure discharge lamp.</p> |
