ELECTRIC WIRE WITH TERMINAL FITTING AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire with a terminal fitting capable of preventing entry of water by a simple operation and method of manufacturing the same.

SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an electrical wire with a terminal fittings includes connecting conductors 21 of an electrical wire to electric wire connections of the terminal fittings, applying resin capable of permeating into voids of metal strands of the conductors 21 connected to the electrical wire connections, inserting the resin portion of the electrical wire connections into a heat-shrinkable tube 40 to cover it, and heating the heat-shrinkable tube 40 to shrink the tube and make the resin permeate into the strand voids of the conductors 21. With a simple operation to shrink the heat-shrinkable tube 40, the resin can be permeated into voids of metal strands of the conductors 21 and the wire can be protected against entry of water.
