METHOD FOR PREPARING CATALYST AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CARBONATE BY USING ITS CATALYST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a catalyst less in deterioration with the passing of time in which a catalyst prepared by carrying an intermetallic compound containing a transition metal and chalcogen on a carrier can be effectively prepared, and in which metals of a catalyst active component are hardly eluted, and to provide a method for manufacturing a carbonate by reacting an unsaturated hydrocarbon, a carbonic acid and an oxygen nucleophilic agent by using the catalyst prepared by the method.

SOLUTION: The method for preparing the catalyst carrying the intermetallic compound containing the transition metal and the chalcogen on the carrier possesses a process of carrying the intermetallic compound on the carrier by a sol-gel process.
