<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To encode and decode data concerned with respective pictures of a moving image, even if the area to be made invisible on the screen of the moving image is moved by screens. <P>SOLUTION: A distribution system is provided with a moving image provision apparatus, loaded with an encoding device for encoding a moving image in a block unit of a picture and a moving image receiving apparatus loaded with a decoding device for decoding the moving image in a block unit of the picture. The encoding device includes a means for storing the identification information of blocks, belonging to an invisible area in each picture and a means for encoding normal area blocks without referring to data concerned with the invisible area blocks and encoding the invisible area blocks so that the original image cannot be displayed in a normal manner without using key information. The decoding device includes a means for storing the identification information of the blocks, belonging to the invisible area and a means for decoding the image concerned with the invisible area blocks, by using the key information so as to display the original image, in a normal manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
