<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller of a high dimensional accuracy without making a release agent erode rubber in a die molding. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for the elastic roller has a release agent applying process, an axial core body arranging process, an elastic layer material injecting process, a primary curing process, a mold removing process, and a secondary curing process. In this case, in the release agent applying process, a release agent applied surface is formed on the internal wall of a molding die. In the axial core body arranging process, an axial core body is arranged in the molding die. In the elastic layer material injecting process, a liquid silicone rubber as an elastic layer is injected into the molding doe in which the axial core body has been arranged. In the primary curing process, the liquid silicone rubber is heat-cured. In the mold removing process, the elastic roller on which the elastic layer has been formed is removed without going through a cooling process. In the secondary curing process, the elastic layer is heat-treated at a temperature being higher than that of the primary curing process. The pH value of the release agent which is measured as a 10 mass% solution of the release agent keeps a range from 4 to 8 from the primary curing process to the secondary curing process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
