<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas-purification catalyst which can sufficiently purify deleterious components of at least, HC, CO and NO<SB>x</SB>contained in exhaust gas and inhibit the deterioration of purification performance. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust gas purification catalyst 1 with a porous base material 2, has a large number of cells 22, extending in the axial direction, formed by arranging a porous partition 21 in a polygonal lattice pattern. In addition, the cells 22 form an exhaust gas flow path 221 and a reduction catalyst region 11 is formed on upstream 28 or downstream 29 of the exhaust gas flow path 221. Besides, an oxidation catalyst region 12 is formed on downstream 29 or upstream 28, and an oxygen concentration adjusting region 13 is formed between the reduction catalyst region 11 and the oxidation catalyst region 12. In upstream 28 and downstream 29, catalyst regions which are different from each other, of the reduction catalyst region 11 and the oxidation catalyst region 12, are each formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
