<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool and method for inserting an insulation body in a power cable, capable of smoothly mounting the insulation body into the power cable while preventing the power cable from being bent or buckled in an axial direction during inserting the insulation body into the power cable, and increasing the efficiency of mounting work of the insulation body. <P>SOLUTION: The insertion tool 1 of the insulation body for the power cable includes a tension application portion 21 which joints a cable conductor 102 of the power cable 100 with a fixing portion 17 distant from the cable conductor 102 and which applies tension to the power cable 100 along a tension application direction T, and an insulation body insertion part 80 in which the insulation body 2 is inserted toward an outer circumference surface of an insulation coating 101 of the power cable 100 by pulling the insulation body 2 along a tension direction S opposite to the tension application direction T. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
