<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure enabling securement of a cargo space and an occupant space. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle body structure comprises a center seat 22 formed in a foldable manner by laying a seat cushion 22a and a seatback 22b one on top of another, side seats 24, 26 provided on both sides of the center seat 22 in a vehicle cross direction, and a center seat supporting mechanism for supporting the center seat 22 in a vertically displaceable manner. A recessed portion 50 is formed in a lower portion of the center seat 22 of a floor panel 2. The recessed portion 50 is large corresponding to the center seat in the folded state to allow the storage of the center seat 22 in the folded state inside thereof. The center seat supporting mechanism is formed to support the center seat 22 in a displaceable manner between a usage position where the seat cushion 22a of the center seat 22 and the upper faces of the seat cushions 24a, 26a of the side seats 24, 26 ranges over and a storage position where it is stored in the recessed portion 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
