PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor capable of effectively suppressing oil discharge from a discharge pipe by improving the oil separation effect of refrigerant gas discharged from a scroll compression element. SOLUTION: An overcurrent protective device 26 is fitted to a coil end 24 of a stator 23 constituting a motor element 20. A guide member 44 for guiding discharged gas in the direction of the overcurrent protective device 26 is provided at an outlet of a communication passage 34. A shield plate 54 is provided, which extends from a support frame 28 to the motor element 20 side and surrounds the periphery of a bearing portion 30. The overcurrent protective device 26 is arranged in a gas passage leading from the communication passage 34 on the outer side of the shield plate 54 to a discharge pipe 50.
