UPPER SUPPORT, METHOD FOR INSTALLING THE SAME AND INSTALLATION STRUCTURE OF UPPER SUPPORT TO SHOCK ABSORBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper support with improved durability in a stopper rubber part integrally formed with a body rubber part. SOLUTION: The body rubber part 24 of a tapered cylindrical shape is arranged in a tapered cylindrical part 16 of a base member 12 of a bottomed tapered cylindrical shape installed on a piston rod 54. The stopper rubber part 46 having a cylindrical part 48 arranged on an upper surface of a bottom part 18 of the base member 12 and a plurality of flange parts 50 extending by bending outward in the direction perpendicular to the axis from an upper end part of this cylindrical part 48, is integrally formed with such a body rubber part 24. The plurality of flange parts 50 are constituted so as to be oppositely positioned to a vehicle body side installation part 76 in a state of contacting with a stopper plate 84 installed on the piston rod 54.
