<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact device capable of enhancing flexibility of designing a stationary terminal while reducing a manufacturing cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This contact device is provided with: a contact block A equipped with a stationary terminal 11 having a stationary contact 11a and a movable contact 20 brought into contact with and separated from the stationary contact 11a; a drive block B to drive the movable contact 20 so that the movable contact part 20b is brought into contact with and separated from the stationary contact 11a; and an external terminal 12 connected to the stationary terminal 11 and connected to an external circuit (not shown in the figure). A projecting part 11d projecting toward the external terminal 12 is protrusively provided in the top face of the collar part 11b of the stationary terminal 11, an insertion hole 12a to pass through the projecting part 11d is provided through the external terminal 12, and the projecting part 11d is bonded to the external terminal 12 by plastically deforming and elastically deforming the projecting part 11d with the projecting part 11d inserted in the insertion hole 12a.
