<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an unintended result from being generated when an original image scan request through communication from an operation panel or the outside conflicts. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A request origin ID is imparted to each of scan start requests from two or more parts to a control part, one scan start request is received (S1), the scan request origin ID is stored as a permission ID (S2), and the scan start request having a request origin ID different from the permission ID is not received until the scan is ended (S3). Also, when the request origin identifier is a present ID (S8), a request relating to scan other than the scan start request and a scan end request is received even when the permission ID is not the present ID (S7).
