<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device where reduction in image quality is suppressed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes an image holder for holding an image formed on a surface while moving so that the surface is circulated and moved, an image forming section for forming the image on the surface of the image holder with a predetermined first toner, a transfer section for transferring the image formed by the image forming section from the upside of the image holder to a predetermined transferring object, a cleaning member for removing a deposit on the surface by coming into contact with and sliding on the surface of the image holder on the downstream side of the transfer section in the circulation movement, and a toner supply section for supplying a predetermined second toner harder than the first toner to the surface of the image holder independently of the image formation by the first toner, and feeding it to the cleaning member.
