<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and simple door opening prevention device of a storage, which can be simply attached to the storage such as a cabinet and which can prevent the unauthorized opening of the door of the storage, and the storage equipped with the door opening prevention device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This door opening prevention device comprises: a frame body 3 which is attached to a handle of the storage, and which has an opening 2 provided in a portion corresponding to the handle; a mechanical card lock 5 which is mounted on a slide plate 4 slidably guided by the frame body 3; a locking plate 7 which is provided for an operating body 12 of the mechanical card lock 5; and connecting means 8 and 10 which are provided between the locking plate 7 and the frame body 3, and which act to inhibit and enable the movement of the mechanical card lock attached to the slide plate. The mechanical card lock is shifted to a position to cover the handle with a key or the handle with no key, and shut in the position, so as to inhibit operations by the handle and the key. After unlocking, the mechanical card lock is shifted to a position to uncover the handle with the key or the handle with no key, so as to enable the operations of the handle and the key.
