<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the lowering of an output from a low-speed rotation area to a high-speed rotation area although a silencer used for a four-cycle engine is provided to exhibit a silencing effect without taking an improvement in output characteristic into consideration. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Exhaust gas is guided from (e) to (g) and (f) by generating an air flow when the exhaust gas guided from (a) to (b) passes through (h)and causing reverberation by (i), thereby amplifying a chamber effect in (g) and (f) to improve an output characteristic in low/middle-speed rotation areas. Exhaust pressure is further applied to (g) and (f) in a high-speed rotation area to change an inner silencer in order to have a straight structure, thereby improving the output characteristic even if reaching the high-speed rotation area.
